A Bronx bodega beatdown was caught on camera when an employee confronted
a group of men who tried to leave the store without paying for chips, cops said.
The gang of roughly seven men, all appearing to be in their early 20s,
purposefully strutted into the Deli Grocery store on Grand Concourse near
E. 182nd St. in Fordham Heights at 10:53 p.m.
The late-night snack grab took a violent turn as the men snatched bags of
chips and cans from the cooler and then made a beeline for the exit.
A worker carrying a cane stepped out from behind the counter and stood in
the doorway, setting off a melee of flying fists that showered down upon him.
